1
Create your account
Sign in at beta.xo.market. XO separates the wallet that controls your account from the smart wallet that trades. Your owner or embedded wallet proves control; the XO smart wallet holds your trading USDC, grants approvals, signs orders and holds your outcome positions.Funding only the external owner wallet does not make the smart wallet tradable. See Your account and smart wallet.
2
Fund the smart wallet
Open the funding modal and pick a route: deposit from a connected wallet, transfer crypto to your deposit address, or buy with cash. Each route ends with USDC credited to your XO smart wallet.Full detail in Deposit funds.
3
Find a market
Start from a category, a search term, or the closing-soon view. Read the card’s outcome prices, time remaining, volume and mechanism label — then open the full market page. A card is a discovery summary, not the settlement agreement.
4
Read the rules
Open Rules & Resolution. Confirm the observation window, what makes each outcome win, the primary evidence source, when a secondary source applies, and what makes the market void. If the question can’t be answered objectively by the named source inside the stated window, skip it.
5
Place your order
Choose Buy, then YES or NO.
- Market — enter a USDC budget. XO walks the book up to a protection price. Partial fills are possible; the remainder is killed rather than left resting.
- Limit — set a price and a share count. Any executable portion can fill immediately; the rest rests on the book until it fills, expires, or you cancel it.
6
Track and claim
Your position appears in your portfolio with entry value, current value and P&L. After the market resolves or voids, eligible positions become claimable — use Claim or Claim All, then allow time for indexing before the portfolio updates.
