Creation runs in five visible steps. You can draft with AI assistance or fill each field manually — the AI drafts editable rules, source, date and cover image, and you review everything before signing.

Writing the resolution rule

Step 2 is where a Conviction succeeds or fails. Before moving on, check that:
  • the subject, threshold and window are specific enough that two people reading the rule would record the same outcome
  • the named source will still publish the needed data at resolution time
  • YES and NO between them cover every possibility, with no overlap
  • you have said what happens if the source is unavailable, corrected, or ambiguous

Your seed order

Step 3 is a real position, not a formality. You choose a side, stake at least $10, and set a seed price between 5¢ and 95¢. That order seeds the book and is the first thing other traders price against.

After you submit

XO signs your seed order against predicted market identifiers, creates the market through a sponsored on-chain transaction, submits the seed buy as a GTC order, and polls the catalogue until the market appears.
Creation is not idempotent. If a transaction outcome is uncertain, do not retry blindly — you can create a duplicate market and a second seed order. Confirm first whether the market and the seed order were created.

Review and eligibility

Creator eligibility can be gated, and submissions may be reviewed before going live. If creation is unavailable to your account, the app shows the reason.
