# Parlays

> CP-funded contest cards — one pick per event, immutable once submitted.

Parlays are contest entries funded with Conviction Points. A contest contains multiple events. You pick one outcome for every event, choose an entry tier, and submit before the deadline or the first event start.

**An entry is immutable once submitted.** There is no edit.

## Entering a contest

    Read the contest rules, dates, event count and prize pool before you start picking.

  <Step title="Pick every event">
    Choose exactly one outcome per event — home win, draw or away win, for example. An incomplete card cannot be submitted.

  <Step title="Choose an entry tier">
    Tiers cost CP. Additional entries can cost progressively more.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and submit">
    Check the full card and your CP balance, then submit before the deadline and within the max-entry limit.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Track the leaderboard">
    Follow your card's status as the events resolve.
  </Step>

## Entry requirements

To enter you need an authenticated, eligible account, enough CP for the tier, one selection per event, an open deadline, and remaining entry capacity.

## Contest statuses

Draft, Active, Locked, Resolving, Resolved, Completed and Cancelled.

## Payout

Parlay payouts are administered by XO and recorded against your entry once processed.

  There is no user-initiated Claim action for Parlays today. Unlike a market position, you don't redeem a Parlay yourself.
