# Claim your payout

> Redeem a winning position or a void refund after settlement.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the market or your portfolio">
    Claims become available once a market is Resolved or Voided.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the claim reason">
    A resolved winner and a voided refund are different outcomes. The amount and the reason are both shown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Claim one or claim all">
    Use **Claim** for a single position, or **Claim All** for every eligible position at once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve the transaction">
    Approve the sponsored smart-wallet transaction. XO routes a CLOB condition to Conditional Tokens redemption and an AMM market to XOMarketV1 redemption — handled for you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for indexing">
    Allow time for the claim to be indexed before the portfolio updates.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Do not repeat a claim while the first transaction is pending. Check your claim history before retrying — a claim that looks missing is usually still indexing.
</Warning>

## If a claim isn't showing

Work through these in order:

| Check                    |                                                    |
| ------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Is the market terminal? | Claims only appear for Resolved or Voided markets. |
| Did your side win? | A losing position has nothing to claim. |
| Has it been indexed yet? | Give it time and refresh before acting. |
| Was it already redeemed? | Check claim history. |

If all four pass and the claim is still missing, see [Troubleshooting](/product/help/troubleshooting).

<Note>
  Integrating directly? Settled Conditional Tokens are redeemed through a bundler UserOperation, not the orderbook API — see [Redeem positions](/guides/redeem-positions).
